Journey to Jazzland. What a wonderful book. As a teacher, I don’t often run across many books that talk about music, especially Jazz. This book is full of unique musical characters that embark on the journey to find Jazzland. I had the privilege of reading this book to a second grade class, and when I was done, this book had peaked the students interest about music, Jazz, and different instruments. They wanted to know what an oboe was and what it sounded like. They also asked the music teacher if she had ever been to Jazzland. So, if you like music and want your kids to be interested in music as well, this is the book for you.
