The Eddie Dickens Trilogy is a fantastic series. This is not too popular in the US yet, and I hope to help change that. The author Philip Ardagh is a quick witted genius. The things he makes his characters go through are creative and bizarre. His stories helped me realize as a writer; yes, I can make my character stranded on a remote island for no reason, and hardly any explanation. That is how wacky his stories can be, and I love it!
